I can't believe I've only been doing this since September 12th! I can't believe the sheer volume of randomness in only 3+ months (Steph's Other Space: Your definitive source for randomness.) Stay tuned in 2008 for randomness, football despite the offseason, randomness, football on signing day, randomness, football at the start of spring practice, randomness, football before/during/after SEC Media Days, randomness, football season at the start of fall practice, randomness, football because it's finally in season, randomness, football because it's November, randomness, politics because it's November and we're also electing a president by the way, and more randomness! And yeah, probably some more Dear Sister stuff as needed.

Well folks, party like it's 2007 and don't drink (no "and drive"...my advice is just don't drink!) I'll be watching football and pulling for that team whose mascot looks like the lovechild of the Tootsie Roll owl and Garfield. Happy New Year's Eve!

Guess what I saw this afternoon when I looked out my window? Standing water... that's right, there was so much rain the ground couldn't hold it all, at least temporarily. Thank you God for a good soaking rain and thanks to all the prayer warriors for their petitions. I'm definitely no prayer warrior but with God's grace we all benefit from those who are.

SHUT UP!

Ugh... there's still 10+ minutes left in our game but I don't know if I'll be able to sit through that much more of these bozo announcers. What is Saban's salary again?!?!? How does it break down per win?!?!?! 4 mil...we get it...WHO CARES?!?!?! Call the game but otherwise SHUT UP.

PS-- For every unfavorable thing from the announcers, the refs make up for with tres favorable calls and spots. That probably wasn't a 1st down just a minute ago (but they gave it to us with inches to spare) and I can offer no explanation for the conspicuously absent flag for Nikita Stover's acrobatics. Can't wait to get in a whole new class of players (pun intended.)
